Customer Conduct
Customers agree that the information they provide is true and accurate
Customers agree that they will only use Trash Knight for lawful purposes, and not for deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal purposes.
Customers agree that they will treat all Trash Knight workers with respect & courtesy at all times. This includes refraining from abusive and discriminatory language and behavior.
Should there be any concerns, complaints, or feedback, the customer agrees to communicate the issue(s) in a calm, respectful, professional manner.
Customers agree that any form of physical or verbal harassment, threats, intimidation, or coercion towards Trash Knight workers is strictly prohibited.
Customers agree to comply with all company policies, guidelines, and procedures during their interactions with Trash Knight workers.
Age & Authorization
The customer agrees they are at least 18 years of age and they have the legal right to authorize Trash Knight to access the designated property(ies)/unit(s)
Can-to-Curb Service
The customer agrees that based on the service option they choose (weekly, monthly, or same night), Trash Knight will take the specified number of trash & recycling cans to the street on your designated trash night, and return the cans to the original storage location once they have been emptied
Trash Valet
The customer agrees that Trash Knight will collect their trash and recycling according to the Trash Valet instructions below that are also located on the Trash Knight website, and transport it to the on site dumpster.

Collection is every Friday beginning at 6:30 pm
The customer must have their trash & recycling ready for collection by 6:30 pm and be home, or they will miss collection and not receive a refund
Only trash & recycling that is allowed in the dumpsters/compactor will be collected. All other waste disposal is the responsibility of the customer.
*No hazardous or bio-hazardous material, broken glass or other sharp objects, furniture, bulk items, electronics, medicine, weapons, or any illegal item or substance. *
Trash & recycling must be separated. We will bring our own reusable bag to collect your recycling
Trash must be in securely tied bags for collection; no loose items, and the bags must hold the contents securely without ripping or leaking
Boxes must be broken down
Billing
The customer agrees to pay Trash Knight the stated fee of the service they’ve chosen, including all applicable local, state, and/or federal taxes and fees. The customer also authorizes Trash Knight to bill and charge the payment method they have provided and its associated payment account.
Payment
Payment for our services is due on the following:
Monthly: Payment is due at the end of the 14 day trial period if you wish to continue service, and on its anniversary each following month
Weekly: Payment is due the day before the service day
Same Night Service: Payment is due the day service is scheduled
Monthly Trash Valet: Payment is due before the service day
On-Site Trash Valet: Immediately at the site of the service request
Home/Can Access & Safety
The customer authorizes Trash Knight to access their property(ies)/unit(s) for the purpose of performing the Trash Knight Service.
The customer authorizes the use of a body camera on their property(ies)/unit(s) for safety purposes of Trash Knight.
The customer agrees that it is their responsibility to ensure that Trash Knight has full access to their waste and recycling cans on the scheduled service days, including gate entry codes, lock combinations, security guard verification, and the containment of pets. Should Trash Knight be unable to access the customers waste or recycling cans for any reason, services will not be performed that week, and they are not entitled to a credit or refund.
Short-Term Rental Liability Clause for HOA Fines
If the service property(ies)/unit(s) is designated for short-term rental use and not a primary residence, Trash Knight shall not be held liable for any notices, fines, or penalties issued by the Homeowner Association (HOA) related to the improper use, placement, or management of trash cans. The customer assumes full responsibility for adhering to all HOA rules and regulations regarding trash cans and agrees to indemnify and hold Trash Knight harmless from any resulting consequences
Disclaimer
Trash Knight will make every effort to place your waste and recycling cans with great care in a curbside location for pick-up. In the event that your vehicle or any other vehicles hits or knocks over your waste or recycling cans, Trash Knight will not be held responsible in any way for any damage to the vehicle or cans. Furthermore, Trash Knight shall not be responsible for any damage to property due to acts of nature, fire, vandalism, misuse, or abuse.
Current Information
The customer will make sure that their payment, email, and contact information are always current during the term of the payment plan.
The customer is also responsible for making sure their payment account has sufficient funds for billing the Trash Knight service. If the customer's payment account is overdrawn due to the Trash Knight service, Trash Knight will not be held liable.
Cancellation
The customer may cancel the Trash Knight Service at any time other than their scheduled service day(s). If the customer cancels on a scheduled service day, the cancellation will not take effect until the following service period, they will be charged the full amount of the service and will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
Changes to Trash Knight
While Trash Knight makes every effort to offer the most reasonable prices, some cost increases to the service may be beyond our control. Should Trash Knight change the service fee, Trash Knight will provide you 60 days notice of any change. Should Trash Knight change, suspend, limit, or discontinue Trash Knight or any part of it, the customer will be given 60 days notice. As always, you have the option to cancel at any time if you do not agree with the change in price. If you choose not to cancel, you will be charged and billed the new service fee.
Customer Satisfaction
Our goal is your complete satisfaction.
In the event that a job is not satisfactorily completed, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify Trash Knight within 7 days, (preferably sooner), so that we can look into the matter and resolve it quickly to your satisfaction.
We may amend any of this Agreement’s terms at our sole discretion. The customer will be notified of any changes and given the opportunity to accept or reject them. The customers continued use of Trash Knight after the effective date of the revised Agreement constitutes their acceptance of the terms.
